Dr. Bimal Shah is responsible for Teladoc Health strategic clinical product vision, clinical content, clinical research and analytics.
Dr. Shah was chief medical officer at Livongo Health until the company merged with Teladoc Health. At Livongo, Dr. Shah launched the company’s cardiovascular product offering, further expanded its product suite, led numerous clinical studies and improved market penetration. Prior to Livongo, Dr. Shah was the service line vice president at Premier., Inc for its analytics and real-world evidence business. Dr. Shah also served as an assistant professor at Duke University, where he held leadership positions in research programs and clinical administration.
Dr. Shah graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the highest honors and earned both a doctorate in medicine and Master of Business Administration from Duke University. Dr. Shah completed his residency in internal medicine at Stanford University before finishing a general cardiology fellowship at Duke University. He is also the chair of the Board of Visitors for the Duke University School of Nursing and a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Shah is a practicing non-invasive cardiologist.
