Charles (Chuck) Divita, III
Chief Executive Officer
Chuck Divita was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Teladoc Health in June 2024, having built a reputation as an innovative, results-driven leader in the healthcare industry. He is widely recognized as a change agent and sound financial manager, along with his ability to lead successful organizations and teams, create breakthrough strategies, and help drive transformative growth at scale.
Prior to joining Teladoc Health, Chuck held senior leadership positions at GuideWell, one of the largest health solutions organizations in the United States. In his most recent role as Executive Vice President for the Commercial Markets business, Chuck played a pivotal role in creating and executing strategies to position the company’s direct to consumer, insured employer and large/national account businesses for sustainable success, including generating over $23B in annual revenues, strong bottom-line performance and market differentiating customer satisfaction measures. Responsibilities included overall business performance, product, sales & account management, operations, provider network, actuarial, analytics and enterprise brand and marketing, among others. Earlier, he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for several years, which included helping the organization navigate the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and generating substantial financial results during his tenure.
Before GuideWell, Chuck was Chief Financial Officer of FPIC Insurance Group, a publicly traded property and casualty insurer primarily focused on the medical professional liability sector that executed a successful business and financial transformation, as well as holding various roles in the company including serving as President and CEO of its third party administration business. FPIC moved from being a troubled company to ultimately being named by Forbes as one of the “100 Most Trustworthy Companies” during Chuck’s tenure.
In addition to sitting on the board of directors for Teladoc Health, Chuck has served on the boards of various healthcare companies including Prime Therapeutics, Availity and VIM, among others. Active in the community, Chuck has also served on the boards of the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville and Teach for America, and has chaired the “First Coast Heart Ball Campaign,” which educates and raises money to support the work of the American Heart Association. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University.
