  • Yes! It is completely at no cost to you. Your employer, health plan or health provider pays for the program on your behalf. Shipping is included too. You are not billed anything for joining and using Teladoc Health.

  • After you enroll, you will be shipped the Teladoc Health Welcome Kit. Your Welcome Kit includes the Teladoc Health scale for you to start checking your weight. You'll also be able to download and log in to the Teladoc Health mobile app, where you can personalize your program and see your progress.

  • Teladoc Health takes your privacy seriously. Your health information is protected by federal and state laws, including HIPAA. Please see our Notice of Privacy Practices for more information on how Teladoc Health uses your health information.

  • You must be eligible through your employer, health plan or health provider. If you are pregnant or have a body mass index (BMI) that's too low, you do not qualify for our Weight Management program. If you have diabetes, you may qualify for our Weight Management program, but you do not qualify for our Diabetes Prevention Program.   • We do ask that you download the Teladoc Health app so you get the most out of Teladoc Health, including easy weight, activity and food tracking. You can download the Teladoc Health app here.

  • You do not have to use the app, but it helps you get more out of the program.

    • The app makes it easy to log food, activity and weight.
    • You can view trends and receive guidance from coaches.
    • The app has tools to help you connect your daily habits to your long-term goals.

  • Only you, your Teladoc Health team, and other people involved in your care and care coordination can see your readings.

    • Your employer or health plan cannot view your individual results.
    • You can request that Teladoc Health share your readings directly with your doctor.
    • Teladoc Health takes your privacy seriously. Your health information is protected by federal and state laws, including HIPAA. Please see our Notice of Privacy Practices for more information on how Teladoc Health uses your health information.

  • Most members weigh themselves daily or several times a week, but your coach can suggest what works best for you, if you choose to work with one.

    • Frequent weigh-ins help you see trends and stay motivated
    • The program uses your readings to offer tips and encouragement

  • GLP-1 FAQs

    • GLP-1 medications for weight loss may be available only to members who have access to an eligible program and receive clinical approval from a Teladoc Health provider.

      • Teladoc Health providers do not prescribe GLP-1 medications for weight loss to members enrolled in Diabetes Management or Hypertension Management programs.
      • Members must be enrolled in an eligible program, such as the Weight Management Program or Diabetes Prevention Program, to be considered.
      • Access to these programs depends on whether they are offered through the member’s employer, health plan or other sponsor.
      • A Teladoc Health provider must determine that a GLP-1 medication is clinically appropriate for the member.
