Fernando Madeira is the president of BetterHelp, the direct-to-consumer mental health service by Teladoc Health. He is responsible for strategic direction, business growth, service operations, partnerships and product development.

Mr. Madeira brings more than 25 years of experience in developing products and creating businesses that transform the way people live and interact. Prior to joining BetterHelp in 2023, Mr. Madeira served as the President of IPSY, where he more than doubled revenues and grew IPSY into the largest beauty subscription service in the world. Prior to IPSY, he served as the president and CEO of Walmart.com USA and Latin America, where he positioned Walmart.com USA as the second most trafficked e-commerce site in the U.S. in 2015 and 2016 and scaled its Brazilian e-commerce operation to one of the top three e-commerce players in the country.

He started his career by founding the company Terra, which became the largest internet company in Latin America, serving more than 100 million people per month across the globe and was named Most Innovative Company in 2011 by Fast Company Magazine.

Mr. Madeira has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.
